Why Do Graphic Designers Screw This Up?

I am a huge movie buff and love looking at movie posters and DVD jackets. Seeing how a designer can try to capture a a couple hours of video into a single still image. No matter how great the designer is, I find that they constantly do one thing wrong. Below is the most recent time I have seen this and just so you know, I have not see this movie nor do I intend to. I just saw it at movies.com. Take a look and try to figure out what is wrong with it.

Did you figure it out? If not, go back and look for another minute.

If you haven’t figured it out I’ll tell you. Look at the placement of the actor’s names. Now I know that Paul Rudd is considered a bigger name actor than Amy Poehler and we read from left to right, but their placement should be flipped. The names should correspond to their location on the poster or DVD jacket. This is something I look for on every poster and DVD jacket I come across and I can’t remember the last time I saw it done properly.
