Who I Am
My name is Brian Stoiber and I live just south of Chicago, IL. I have long been interested in the web design, graphic design and photography. I like to believe my sense of design was inherited from my mother who is currently in charge of the Art Department at Joliet Catholic Academy High School which is also where I graduated from. She strongly influenced my decision to attend the University of St. Francis and major in Mass Communications with a concentration in Web Design/Graphic Design/Photography. Although I do not get nearly enough time to enjoy photography, I try to get a couple good shots here and there.
As for hobbies and interests outside of work, I am an avid cyclist. During the warmer months, I try to get out on the road 3-4 times a week for a few hours each time. There is just something about riding in between corn fields and on back rural roads with the hot sun shining down on your back that makes life so much better. I am also interested in almost anything tech related as well as law and politics.
When the spirits are low, when the day appears dark, when work becomes monotonous, when hope hardly seems worth having, just mount a bicycle and go out for a spin down the road, without thought on anything but the ride you are taking.
- Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
As for work, my primary focus is to always design attractive, simple and user-friendly websites. I strongly believe in web standards and enforce it in all of my work. My goal is to always provide high-quality websites that make a difference for their owners.
